The WD&WL Hand Bow Saw features triple-ground teeth, cutting 3x faster than conventional stamped teeth. With 7 teeth per inch (TPI), it delivers smooth, clean cuts every time. The blade is crafted from premium 65Mn spring steel, heat-treated for optimal hardness and toughness — resistant to tooth chipping and blade warping even under prolonged use. The sturdy wooden handle offers a comfortable grip for extended work sessions. Available in two sizes — 18″ (450mm) and 24″ (600mm) — this series adapts to everything from fine woodworking to rough outdoor cutting tasks.
Each tooth is precision ground on three sides to form a sharp 3D cutting edge, enabling smooth penetration and rapid chip removal — approximately 3x faster cutting efficiency compared to conventional stamped teeth.
The 7 TPI tooth pitch achieves the optimal balance between cutting speed and surface finish — coarse enough for fast material removal, yet fine enough to leave a clean, smooth cut without excessive tear-out.
The blade is made from high-grade 65Mn spring steel, professionally heat-treated (quenched and tempered) to achieve HRC 50-55 hardness while retaining excellent toughness. The blade can flex under pressure without breaking, delivering a significantly longer service life than ordinary carbon steel blades.
The handle is crafted from premium hardwood with dense grain and a comfortable grip. Its ergonomic curved shape fits naturally in the palm, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. The handle-to-blade connection is securely fastened for long-lasting durability.
The 18″ model is ideal for fine woodworking, furniture making, and indoor carpentry; the 24″ model excels at outdoor lumber cutting, rough stock processing, and large-section wood work. Users can choose the right size for their specific needs.

A: This hand bow saw is primarily designed for cutting wood, including solid wood, plywood, MDF, OSB, and similar materials. It can also cut PVC pipes and plastic tubes. It is not recommended for metal cutting.
A: “Triple-ground” means all three faces of each tooth are precision ground to form a 3D sharp cutting edge. Conventional stamped teeth only have two faces (front and side) with a single cutting angle. Triple-ground teeth cut in faster, clear chips more efficiently, and deliver approximately 3x cutting efficiency.
A: TPI stands for “Teeth Per Inch.” 7 TPI is a medium pitch suitable for general wood cutting — neither too coarse nor too fine. General rule: fewer teeth = faster but rougher cut; more teeth = smoother but slower cut. 7 TPI is the optimal balance between speed and finish quality.
A: 65Mn is a manganese-containing spring steel with approximately 0.9-1.2% manganese content. Compared to ordinary carbon steel (such as T10), it offers better elasticity and fatigue resistance. After heat treatment, 65Mn steel achieves higher hardness and better toughness — the blade can flex under pressure without breaking, significantly extending service life.
A: The 18″ (450mm) is ideal for fine woodworking, furniture making, and indoor renovation where precise control is needed. The 24″ (600mm) excels at outdoor rough cutting, large-section lumber, and branch pruning where speed is the priority. If your applications are diverse, we recommend having both sizes.
A: Our wooden handles are made from premium hardwood (such as beech or birch) with dense grain and strictly controlled moisture content. The handle-to-blade connection uses mechanical fastening for a secure, reliable fit. Under normal use, cracking will not occur. We also offer plastic handle versions upon request.
