Q2: Why include both metric and SAE sockets — do I really need both?
A: Because two standards coexist worldwide. Asian vehicles (Japanese, Korean), European vehicles and Chinese-built equipment generally use metric (mm), while American cars (Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge and others), certain imported machinery, agricultural equipment and imperial hardware use SAE (inch) sizes.
